Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
NSA is seeking a skilled Protocol Officer to represent the National Security Agency on matters of social etiquette and business protocol, and provide support and counsel throughout the Agency to initiate, arrange, and conduct visits, ceremonies, special events, and conferences. Duties Include: - Plan, schedule, and arrange high-profile visits by domestic, foreign, and private visitors. - Plan, schedule, and execute military and civilian award ceremonies. - Brief senior leadership. - Perform occasional travel to off-site locations to support organizational mission programs. - Work occasional after-hour evening events.
SKILLS
The ideal candidate should have: - Experience in customer service positions. - Computer/clerical/time management/organizational experience. - Experience organizing business and social events. - Experience working with and briefing senior executives and managers. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Basic budget/money collection/finance experience. - Experience with Intranet, Internet, Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, and Excel).
PAY BENEFITS & WORK SCHEDULE
Pay: Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Salary Range: $34,121 - $153,354 Salary range varies by location, work level, and relevant experience to the position. On the job training, internal NSA courses, and external training will be made available based on the need and experience of the selectee. Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, with basic 8 hr./day work requirement between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (flexible).
