Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications.

  • Maintain organized records and files, both physical and digital to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Support new hire orientation, onboarding processes, and recruiting and engagement initiatives.

  • Assist with timekeeping procedures to ensure accurate and timely payments, and compliance with company policy.

  • Compare vacation accrued to attendance records and confirms and authorizes all vacation, sick leave or other paid leave for hourly personnel in computer system.

  • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.

  • Complete all necessary forms for employee termination and inactivate records in the computer systems and with alignment of policy and procedure.

  • Support tracking and monitoring of performance reviews.

  • Track and verify all required training for position training is completed.

  • Respond to request for employment verification in a prompt and confidential manner.

  • Coordinate employee events such as retirement parties, recognition dinner, and other internal and external events.

  • Responsible for reporting metrics and information for various reporting requirements, to include month end, safety reporting and various Human Resources metrics.

  • Prepare and maintain bi-weekly employee listings, new hire, and absentee reports. Maintain and update company organizational charts, phone directory and other requested reports as needed.

EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:


  • Computers and fax machines

  • Microsoft Office

  • Experience in ERP systems. 

  • Photocopying equipment

ROLE REQUIREMENTS: 


  • Proven experience (preferred) or educational background in HR, business administration, or related fields.

  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in administrative tasks.

  • Proficiency in HR software, timekeeping systems, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with employees and vendors.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.

  • Ability to work will in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectations.

  • Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.  

  • Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job.
