The Doubletree San Jose is looking for aPart-Time Front Desk Agentto join their team! This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has a passion for customer service and grow within the hospitality industry.

We're less than five minutes from San Jose International Airport and ten from downtown San Jose. Shopping, restaurants, and more!

This a part-time role that will need to have open availability to work Friday-Sunday, during holidays, and overnight if needed.

What will I be doing?

A Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests and checking guests out of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


  • Greet guests and complete the registration process to include, but not limited to, inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirmation of guest information and room rate, selection of rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing a welcome packet and ensuring guest knows location of room and/or has a bell person accompany him/her.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Provide driving and/or walking directions to guests to local destinations.
  • Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel, including, but not limited to, directions, hours of outlet operation, hotel services, hotel events and local and community events and attractions.
  • Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
  • Provide or obtain accurate information

What are we looking for?- Full availability to work varying shifts that include Graveyard shifts, weekends and holidays is required
- Previous customer service experience preferred

Starting wage is $23.16 and rate increases after 90 day probation period to $28.95 per hour
