This position is responsible providing high quality software support for the installed system
This includes performing scheduled software maintenance, software troubleshooting, performing system backups, applying patches as well as suggesting and performing system improvements, modifications and optimizations to current customers to ensure the end-user has an operational and dependable system
This Engineer is to ensure all system issues are addressed on time and to the customer's satisfaction.
This Engineer will also be expected to provide advanced level programming for the installation of systems as well as provide support for startup, checkout, and commissioning of the systemAssist in job close out by providing final record drawings and documentation
Remote Support: Complete understanding of remote connectivity methods (Bomgar, etc.) including VPN software when applicable, including accessing and updating password vaults
Become the lead programmer on medium to large projects and complete tasks through the full cycle of software development phase so systems are ready for prefunctional tests and commissioning/startup
What qualifications will make you successful?
Be able to read, write, modify simple programming and assist others in start up of control's equipment at a basic level with mentor support
Basic understanding of operator workstation use, graphics and software development
Understand how to read and review specifications, drawings, and sequences
Proficiency in the usage of Studio 360, Prometheus, Project configuration Tool apps and any other applicable engineering tools
