Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste.
  • Controls and maintains personal inspection equipment to ensure proper use and calibration.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Expected to seek and improve job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications
  • Monitors Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and related documentation affecting the standards and specifications of product and verifies application to identified products.
  • Communicate required adjustments with appropriate departments to resolve documentation, hardware and assembly nonconformance issues.
  • Assists ISO Program Coordinator
  • Participates in 5S and Continual Improvement efforts.
  • Demonstrate safe behaviors and promote safe working environment.
  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.

Education/Experience:


  • High School or equivalent
  • Minimum of (5) years related manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in the Quality Assurance/Quality Control field.
  • Basic computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Able to access, navigate, enter and extract information from SAP, STULZ intranet, SharePoint

  • Clear and consistent handwriting skills

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and metric equivalents.
  • Ability to read tape measure, calipers, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee has a cart assigned with a computer, and tools as needed.
