Infosys is seeking Infrastructure Testing - Lead Consultant
In the role of Lead Consultant, you will act as a validation and quality engineering professional across the different stages of the testing lifecycle: you will develop, design and deploy test framework and assets of complex modules, help set up the test environment and contribute to the requirements documentation and test design for different types of testing. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology and Infrastructure Quality Engineering domain.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada
Experience with Test Solutioning, Testing strategies and Test Execution for Infrastructure
Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.
Preferred Experience:
Confidence in challenging and recommending technical infrastructure test approaches and test strategies.
Proven experience of test planning, conducting Impact Assessments, identifying, and managing Testing risks, Stakeholder co-ordination and management.
Good knowledge of Infrastructure Testing w.r.t Databases, Network, Security, Citrix, Windows, UNIX, LINUX, Exchange, etc.
Good understanding on at least 2 languages from PowerShell/Bash/Korn/Python/Ansible scripting.
Knowledge on Infrastructure Monitoring Tools.
Awareness on ITSM Processes.
Possess broad awareness of testing approaches, latest practices and techniques in order to help design and deliver the overall testing methodology for Infrastructure changes across the enterprise.
Experience in Developing infrastructure test automation frameworks or evaluating features in order to create complex test scenarios.
Identify tools and technologies to be implemented, aligning with that already used across the broader development function and in-line with the skill set of the team.
In-depth knowledge in current industry-wide testing techniques, tools, and methodologies
Stakeholder management skills including effective communication between the team and client - close collaboration with other roles and stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
