About the Role

Essity is looking to hire a Paper Machine Operator at our paper mill in Menasha, WI. This is a world class facility where you will have the opportunity to have a career within a global organization. We provide a great work culture where individuals regularly have close to 20 years of tenure.

New employees can start off with an hourly rate of $25.77 per hour and will be eligible for an increase upon completion of their training.

This role will work a rotating shift schedule. Working on Saturday and Sunday will regularly be required. Working on Saturday is paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate and working on Sunday is paid at 2 times your hourly rate.

What You Will Do

• Work within Essity safety standards to support the efficient operation of the rewinder/slitting end of the Tissue manufacturing process.


• Watch the process and if necessary perform routine maintenance, housekeeping, and resupply of materials necessary for roll prep and shipping.


• Deliver finished rolls of paper to awaiting trailers, load trailers, and enter necessary roll weight data into integrated materials management system.


• Support Essity Continuous Improvement Systems.


• Consult with Team Leader or skilled operators if required.


• Order and prepare raw materials / or products for palletizing and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures


• Maintain an adequate communication with previous and next shift as well as with other persons involved in running the machine


• Maintain an optimal housekeeping situation


• Support others in operating activities Secure the quality level of the products by regular checking against the product specification rejecting or blocking if necessary


• Complete all required documentation and data files during production

Who You Are

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• The nature of this work requires all employees to at least be 18 years of age.


• One (1) year of previous Manufacturing or Forklift Experience preferred.


• Safety focused, self starter ready to contribute!
