Position Summary

The Sr. Analyst, Production Modifications Planning role is responsible for leading and ensuring the execution of the “End to End” process related to domestic & international product modification and repack operations within CBI sites or 3rd party provider locations for the Wine & Spirits organization. Leveraging lean six sigma business processes, this role is responsible for leading a cross functional team in the timely completion of production/customer orders.

This role works with a wide variety of internal stakeholders — including Warehouse, Inventory, Strategic Wine Partners, Spirits External Operations, and IT teams — in the full range of the repack/mobile bottling cycle. You will leverage your industry, technical and functional experience to support internal stakeholders to generate efficiencies and business value aligned with strategic corporate goals.

Responsibilities


  • Responsible for prioritizing, scheduling, and coordination (short/long range planning) of product modification and repack across the CBI network while having knowledge of true volume of projects & overall work.  

  • Must have a sense of urgency on time and in full. Lead RCIs when misses occur and implement solutions for CI.

  • Partner with CBI sites and 3PLs to identify locations to ensure capacity availability for bottling, repack, product modification, etc.

  • Partner with Supply Planning to develop long term master plan and understand existing products that will require modification every year.

  • Follow all established safety and environmental practices and recognize and control hazards while performing tasks: ex. communication around priorities, developments, and changes to stakeholders across the business.

  • Ability to quickly gain the confidence of the business and colleagues through good communication and influencing skills and acting as an advocate of the SAP ERP and EWM Management team both externally and internally.

Operational Requirements


  • Partner with cross-functional team to validate and ensure that all correct quantities of dry goods are ordered as well as ensuring that partially finished goods are in stock.

  • Provide coordination of overall logistics & management of the master plan/schedule related to repack, product modification, mobile bottling, as well as escalating issues.

  • Compile and distribute reporting information.

  • Align with inventory management team as needed to ensure accuracy of Finished Goods and Dry Goods.

  • Ensure all items requiring modifications are setup in SAP.

  • Perform inventory audits at CBI plants and third-party facilities where CBI has inventory.

  • Run and update inventory reports from SAP, Excel, and Power BI.

  • Work with managers and team to create inventory related metrics and reporting for repack, product modification, etc.

  • Collaboration and coordination with customer service to prioritize work to be completed.

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to illustrate data (charts, process flows) while also utilizing key principles of Continuous Improvement as well as Lean Six Sigma.

  • All other duties assigned by manager.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or 5-10 years of experience in Supply Chain or similar role in the manufacturing or operations space.

  • Proficiency in performing IM and WM warehouse movement transactions and resolving issues with inventory adjustments.

  • Knowledge of Material Master.

  • Clear understanding of packaging specifications.

  • Understand inventory movements and warehouse language as well as understand day-to-day SAP transactions.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Food and Beverage Industry knowledge/experience

  • SAP IM and EWM intermediate level experience

  • SAP S/4 HANA On-Premise and Cloud experience

  • Lean Six Sigma principles.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment


  • Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Primary office environment may be warehouse/distribution setting.

  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. regularly.

Location and Travel Requirements

  • Expected to travel approximately <50% percent of the time to CBI offices and production/storage locations, both CBI and third-party.

The salary range for this role is:

$78,800.00 - $122,500.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
