Our client in North Fresno is seeking an experienced Marketing Resarch Analyst with Heavy Data, Performance Tracking, Research, Reporting, and Trends!
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with afterhours as needed
Compensation: $65,000- $75,000 annually based on experience
Position Description:
As the Marketing Research Analyst, you will help track, analyze, and understand more about customers, products, markets, performance, trends, and more. Whether that information comes through surveys, spreadsheets, charts, graphs, industry publications, social media polls or something else entirely, you'll be able to make use of any of those options to uncover key bits of information to help guide us in what we do.
ssential Functions/Accountabilities:
Collect data on consumers, competitors and the marketplace and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations
Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover current and future customers' preferences, characteristics, and patterns
Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it
Perform valid and reliable market research using SWOT analysis and other common marketing research models
Use online market research and catalogue findings to databases
Provide competitive analysis on various companies' market offerings and strategies, identify market trends, analyze pricing/business models, and more
Stay informed on market trends, other parties' research and recommend/implement best practices
Monitor, evaluate and report on specific marketing outreach programs such as social media, website/SEO, online advertising, email advertising and more
Conduct internal business/sales and market analysis to equip and inform stakeholders
Qualifications:
Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
Strong communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, or similar), databases and MS Office
Understanding of search engines, web analytics and business research tools
Familiarity with CRM programs
Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc.)
Working knowledge of data warehousing, modeling, and mining
Familiarity with data research from third-party vendors and databases
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ambitious and self-driven with an eagerness to find, uncover, and deliver valuable information to team members
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Marketing or related field
3-5 years of experience in Market Research Analysis (Preferred)
Experience with full Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and preferably Power BI
