Job Description:

We’re glad you’re exploring our 2nd shift Materials Testing Laboratory Technician position and want to share some of the details. 


 


First, the hours for this position will be Monday-Friday, 12PM-8PM. We would be looking for you to have an associate degree or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities. A technical background with analytical instruments, excellent attention to detail, and possession of intermediate math, reading, and writing skills are desired.


 


Second, this position will be responsible for performing mechanical, chemical, and metallurgical testing. Lab Technicians must be able to read customer specifications and international standards to ensure that testing is appropriate for customer products, and that the reporting of test results is accurate. You will collaborate to maintain and update lab work instructions and procedures and be able to perform metallurgical evaluations, chemical analysis, mechanical testing, and thermal analysis testing.
