Summary: Provide technical and functional support in all areas of the PLC (Product Life Cycle) operations for Acushnet Company brands worldwide. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, test, deploy and maintain item set up and all related functions. Assist with documenting and maintaining standard operating procedures. Support the PLC team in all areas of item creation in the ERP system and any integrated or standalone systems related to the item set up process.


Responsibilities:



  • Assist with the item set process, PLC, in the ERP system for all manufactured and finished goods for the Acushnet Company brands, including, but not limited to, FootJoy and Links & Kings brands. Ensure accuracy in product pricing, product costing, internal work orders and/or external purchase orders. Troubleshoot and maintain current processes, assisting stakeholders daily so not to disrupt daily business. Demonstrate an understanding of other business systems integrated into ERP system.

  • Review and resolve daily Audit Reports to ensure PLC setups are correct and complete, analyze errors to increase understanding of entire PLC process.

  • Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to correct discrepancies to ensure compliance. (i.e., Finance ensuring all internal audit requirements are achieved; Customer Service managing QMark/Packaging set up; Custom Operations with product structure costing).

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of written procedures related to PLC setup and maintenance.


Requirements:



  • Information Technology degree preferred, but not required.

  • Solid working knowledge of ERP or MRP principles, practices, and procedures. Advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel is a must.

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time at a PC.

  • Strong computer skills with MS Excel, MS project, PowerPoint, etc. Knowledge of workflow analysis, flow charting, and info-mapping procedures.

  • Must have excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information regarding product launches and costing.
