Summary: Responsible for customer service activity within team of Warranty Associates. Responsible for the growth and development of team members.


Responsibilities:



  • Work with Customer Service Manager to identify and support departmental goals for standards of service.

  • Supervise, motivate, and evaluate assigned Warranty Team members consistent with Acushnet Company standards.

  • Create an environment of teamwork and encourage individual growth of each team member according to their abilities.

  • Provide direction for team members to insure adherence and proper application of all policies and procedures.

  • Assist team members in answering telephone and written inquiries regarding products and expedite all responses.

  • Review procedures and policies on a regular basis and identify areas for improvement.

  • Coordinate verbal/written customer correspondence regarding replacement of new/defective shoes.

  • Communicate with appropriate departments any recognized trends and unusual activity encountered.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience, 2 years of which must be in a Customer Service role.

  • Golf industry experience/footwear knowledgeable. Team player with demonstrated ability to handle upset customers and promote positive customer interactions.

  • Able to sit for long periods of time and listen/talk on the telephone.
