The Women's Outreach Outpatient Program helps women learn how to manage life issues and day-to- day living without the use of mood- or mind-altering substances or drugs. Program services promote recovery, self-sufficiency, development of support networks and other important life skills to enhance mental health and reduce the risk of needing inpatient treatment.Job Responsibilities include:

• Completes UDS on individuals


• Completes SA Nursing Assessments


• Works in cooperation with the other nurse on her assigned shift to ensure a nursing shift progress note is completed on each consumer.


• In-service Trainings and staff meetings as scheduled including essential learning.


• Maintains adequate stock of medication in medication room


• Provides medication education groups as scheduled.


• As medication nurse, disposes of any out of date medication and ensures expiration dates and opened dates are labeled on OTC medications.


• Implements any consumer precautions that may apply


• Performs venipuncture in a timely manner and documents per guidelines to ensure timely receipt of lab results.


• Completes AIMS assessment.


• Administers PPD skin test upon admission.
