Responsibilities :

• Lead the regional Software Delivery teams to align with the OEM roadmap for Automotive Software Delivery.

• Work closely with customers, suppliers and partners as well as internal teams to develop comprehensive project plan with a focus on seamless software integration into vehicle programs.

• Be accountable for software project execution excellence; identify, oversee, and proactively manage resource constraints and conflicts to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

• Serve as the primary technical contact with OEM and other partners, relentlessly enhance our capacity to provide world-class experiences, fostering both customer satisfaction and the growth of Bose Automotive business.

• Serve as the primary technical contact for matters involving issues, scope changes, quality, communication management, risks, or interfaces/dependencies.

• Provide technical support to the project team in areas of requirements analysis, architecture design, integration, or issues investigation.

• Align Bose automotive software development plan to provide the right customer value at the right time with Agile methodology. Validate project plans and scheduling to incorporate any changes requested by customers.

• Be responsible for alignment with customers and partners; deliverables date and content negotiation, software maturity and issues tracking and reporting.

• Be ready to roll up the sleeves and dive into technical details, review the code, investigate issues, implement prototypes/demos, capture lessons learnt etc.

• Be a key leader in the agile process fostering collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and transparency.

• Represent the voice of the customer within the Bose organization.

Skills & Experience :

• 12+ years of software engineering experience and a proven track record of successfully architecting and delivering high performance automotive software products.

• 5+ years of senior management experience with a solid track record of building, leading and mentoring technical engineering teams.

• Demands a profound mastery of coding skills (C/C++), coupled with a consistent track record of active coding over the last five years in the realm of embedded software development.

• Experience interacting with customers, senior executives, and business leaders.

• Proven track record in orchestrating and successfully executing large-scale automotive software projects through the application of Agile methodologies.

• Proficient in recognizing, evaluating, and proactively managing risks pertaining to software projects, guaranteeing their on-time and within-budget delivery while staying within defined scope parameters.

• Proficient in the utilization of tools relevant to software development and integration within the automotive industry.

• Possess a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration on a global scale, effectively engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to establish a robust network that drives business outcomes.

• Proficient in navigating RFI/RFQ phases, including the preparation and delivery of responses, with a demonstrated history of engaging with customers to secure business opportunities.

• Strong comprehension of software development ranging from low-level programming to realtime operating systems (RTOS); proficiency in QNX, Linux, Android is advantageous.

• Preference for candidates with automotive industry background in either an OEM or Tier 1 company, coupled with prior experience in a customer-facing technical role.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English, along with excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills, is essential.

Education & Certificates :

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required. Master's degree is preferred. • PMP/PRINCE 2 Certification

• Additional certifications or training in Agile and Scrum methodologies can demonstrate a deeper understanding of these popular project management frameworks.
