Job Description:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Using our payroll software system, preparation of the bi-weekly payroll ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with government regulations, and organizational policies and procedures
- Calculate pay according to hours worked submitted by managers via payroll software system, incorporating leaves, overtime and garnishments
- Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes. Maintenance of employee profile set up (new hires, transfers, and terminations), federal/state/local taxes, insurance/benefits deductions, and court-ordered deductions
- Process and transmit bi-weekly pay via direct deposits
- Process bonuses and incentive payments per schedule
- Update electronic HRIS records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes, performance ratings, etc.
- Manage payroll-related questions from management and employees
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to payroll and time entry
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports as required
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 1 year of payroll services or finance experience preferred
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Computer savvy with working knowledge of relevant software including Word, Excel and payroll/HRIS programs
- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds
- Valid driver’s license

Salary starting from $42,000.00($20.19 p/hour) and determined based on experience, education and skill level.
