Summary: The Acushnet Corporate Accounting team is responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting for our portfolio of the world's most recognized golf brands, including Titleist and FootJoy. This role is a first step into the Acushnet group, and an ideal entry point for an individual who is interested in learning about the business organization and operations, taking on additional responsibility, and advancing their career within the Finance team. We are looking for an energetic and dynamic leader with a collaborative style, who is eager to take on complex and challenging initiatives. The Corporate Accounting Manager - Consolidations & Financial Systems will manage systems in the accounting and finance functional areas.


Responsibilities:



  • Owns and manages all master data including chart of account changes, hierarchy updates, data mapping changes and business rule updates for the company-wide consolidation, ERP and planning systems, ensuring the highest sense of integrity within these systems.

  • Manage the monthly and quarterly close consolidation process, including issue resolution.

  • Key member of Acushnet's ERP implementation team and other project teams on accounting-related areas including general ledger, accounting rules and system reporting.

  • Provide support to end users of finance systems by responding to inquiries and providing instruction on the proper use of reporting applications, such as generating ad-hoc reporting.

  • Act as an interface to IT for projects within the finance functional area, including issue resolution.

  • Ensure proper documentation is maintained for appropriate system changes to support audit requirements.

  • Training and supporting finance team members in the use of financial systems and procedures.


Requirements:



  • BS/BA in Accounting required.

  • Consolidations experience required.

  • 5 - 8 years of public and/or private accounting experience is required.

  • Financial information systems experience is required.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ideal candidate is proactive, well-organized, team-oriented and willing to take on new challenges.

  • Supervisor experience preferred.
