Job Description:

The Merchandising Analyst will work closely with product category team to identify trends in sales and develop & present organized and meaningful methods for showcasing these trends. As the merchants develop new products in response to sales trends, the merchandising analyst will also be responsible for planning and submitting all forecast for said new products, assist with maintaining desired inventory levels, and implement effective strategies that will maximize ROI and turns. They will also regularly review all buying and selling patterns and build reporting tools necessary for merchants to make quick and impactful decisions about the business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Required to learn and perform Oracle or consultant mode order entry

Required to use Salesforce, communicating on customer issues and problem solving accordingly

Ability to make oral and written presentations, ability and confidence to present opinions and thoughts in a clear, unbiased manner

Skills:

Ability to make decisions to achieve desired results

Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills

Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to make decisions, communicate effectively utilizing telephone, email, or one on one conversation.

Multi-task oriented and possess the ability to make decisions to achieve results

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Good interpersonal and customer service skills

Proactive and action results orientated

Advanced analytical skill set with developed time management and multitasking abilities.

Qualities:

Must be able to maintain composure and handle high stress situations.

Self-Motivated person that can work with multiple personality types.

Experience:

1-2 years relevant work experience. Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required

Advanced in Excel including pivot tables and formulas

Experience with Windows, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
