Salutem - a specialist Daniel J. Edelman Health agency -is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our growing team! Health-related PR experience is required.

Our team provides a wide array of communications services to a diversified portfolio of healthcare clients including major pharmaceutical and biotech companies, medtech and medical devices, hospitals, and health insurers. By employing innovative and thoughtful strategies, the team develops integrated corporate reputation, executive visibility, and brand campaigns that help our clients promote their brands protect their reputations and license to operate and influence public perceptions.

The Senior Account Executive will have the ability to learn and deploy a wide variety of communications skills to a single, but diversified, industry that is of fundamental importance to individuals, governments, and society at large.Furthermore, employees will hone their communication skills alongside colleagues who have deep expertise at the intersection of healthcare and public relations.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to creation of communications plans that meet client objectives, including idea contribution, research, and presentation preparation


• Support multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges, managing timelines and ensuring deadlines are met


• Build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels


• Consistently produce high-quality internal and external communications content, including press releases, media outreach emails, social content and sponsored content


• Manage medical, legal and regulatory review processes in alignment with client guidance, including referencing and appropriate formatting of document reviews


• Support team with traditional and social media monitoring around client announcements and key milestones


• Effectively analyze and summarize project performance for clients throughout the year


• Supervise staff junior to you by motivating, coaching, and consistently providing feedback


• Commit to continuous learning; set and pursue stretch goals


• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman's values and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

Basic Qualifications:

• At least two years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media, and publishing.


• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven ability to manage multiple small or medium-sized projects simultaneously.


• Be able to develop communications plans, implement public relations tactics, and impart knowledge to more junior team members.


• Strong research, writing, editing, and client interaction skills, perform well under pressure and be a team player.


• Familiarity with scientific referencing and regulatory review processes, including Veeva

$52,000 - $77,000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
