What makes this a great opportunity?

Reporting to the Global Sr Brand Manager, will play a supporting role in brand strategy & creative development projects. Developing the brand's North Star and Purpose, refining brand positioning and Visual ID assets & tools for markets to realize the brands' vision, which would include overall launch strategies, go-to-market plans and brand experiences.

Working with key cross functional and agency partners, this role will assist the overall Brand House Team with the creation of long-term strategic marketing objectives and strategies. Supporting local team in asset development, leading innovation management in partnership with the Innovation team. This role will own business reporting and analytics for the Brand's businesses, enabling market teams to deliver against volume, sales and profit growth objectives each year.

Role Responsibilities

Portfolio and Geography:


  • Responsible for supporting the North America region and key focus markets.

(Gemba) Insight:


  • Analyze brand performance, compile insights, and synthesize data into clear and compelling storylines with actionable recommendations.
  • Understanding of budget management and forecasting process, including ROI evaluation.
  • Assist with strategic and annual experience planning by leading key elements of plan and partnering with the markets' Brand and Commercial Marketing teams to build locally relevant marketing programs.
  • Contribute to monthly brand updates and business reviews.

Brand Foundations & Stewardship:


  • Provide global brand strategy guidance and brand governance information to markets' Brand and Commercial Marketing teams.
  • Facilitate exchange of information (competitive, regional insights, inventory, etc) and stay abreast of brand needs with regular touchpoints with markets' Brand and Commercial Marketing teams to ensure national plans are created in adherence to brand led, market fed strategy.
  • Assist in developing trade promotion materials (sell sheets, education materials, etc.)
  • Build relationships with cross-functional partners, including Innovation, Digital, Social, Insights, Finance, PR, etc.

Strategy & Planning:


  • Oversee end-to-end commercialization projects for product updates and innovation work in Planisware (commercialization) system.
  • Support portfolio architecture strategy development and pipeline build, including post-mortem analysis and go-to-market business case.
  • Influence and shape innovation strategies especially for new brands, partnering with the innovation teams to develop the long-term pipeline view.
  • Partner with innovation teams to support innovation projects in the product portfolio.
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to estimate new product and promotional volumes.

Qualifications


  • 4 years' consumer marketing experience. Global CPG, luxury brands or spirits experience preferred.
  • Business degree (MBA preferred).
  • Agency management experience required.
  • Strong project management skills and stakeholder management with demonstrated experience in working collaboratively across an organization, gaining credibility amongst peers, managers and agency and cross-functional partners.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and provide independent thinking supported by fact-based rationale.
  • Sound written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities; experienced in synthesizing data (e.g. research, Brand Health tracking, Nielsen, Shopper tracking, in market experience) into insights.
  • Strategic thinking: use insights to develop brand/marketing programs that align with overall Brand strategy.
  • Preferred: Experience with beverage alcohol industry and/or three-tiered distribution system a plus (soft drinks, beer, and other wholesale-distributed product), Spanish language (not required)

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:


  • Reports to the Hornitos Sr Brand Manager of the Brand House.
  • Leadership team members of the Brand House, including the Distillery.
  • Cross functional leads and teams (e.g., Innovation, Digital, Insights, PR, Capability, HR)
  • External agencies

The salary range for this role is a base salary of $100,000 - $130,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. Salary range is commensurate with candidate's location, experience and skillset.
