Instructional Designer-Sales-US at Access Information Management

Job Summary
As a key member of the Commercial Excellence team, the Instructional Designer designs, develops and implements training program modules and courseware that inspire, change mindsets, and drive performance. Key responsibilities include design and production of learning resources utilizing graphics, audio, video, and animation technologies for eLearning.
 


Primary Functions



  • Provide curriculum design expertise for the development of both computer based and classroom training courses.

  • Production of e-learning resources utilizing graphics audio video and animation technologies.

  • Design and implement training materials incorporating interactive training techniques and assessments.

  • Responsible for managing development process, setting standards for assisting business partners in the design of curriculum, and retooling courses for multiple delivery methods.

  • Partner with subject matter experts to gather information, document best practices, etc. for use in developing training.

  • Analyze the effectiveness of courses and report on results through proven evaluation methods to tailor and improve efficacy of courses/curricula.

  • Interact with other groups and departments to develop and maintain knowledge of systems and processes.

  • Utilize various adult learning and content development models to design curriculum and course content and materials.

  • Assist in the ongoing maintenance revision and improvements of existing e-learning resources.

  • Serve as part of an administration team for the access LMS system and other systems used to support learning efforts.

  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.


 


Education & Experience Required



  • BS or BA in instructional design, organizational development, human resources (with emphasis on employee development, or related field. MS/MA ideal. Certification in adult learning or equivalent highly desired.

  • Minimum three to five years in course design or e-learning experience utilizing development tools, and other graphic and/or multimedia design.

  • Experience designing training and courseware for synchronous and asynchronous e-learning, classroom instruction, and on-the-job training.

  • Minimum 2 years in an administrator role with a Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Strong knowledge of and experience using adult learning methodologies, models, etc. (i.e., ADDIE, SAM, and others)

  • Facilitation and management of activities while partnered with subject matter experts, senior management and staff to gather, analyze and assess input from these sources.

  • Software proficiency: Microsoft 365 (Office), Learning content development tools (Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.) Salesforce.

  • 2+ years in a sales role or a role supporting the learning and/or operational needs of salespeople desired.

  • Strong multitasking ability

  • Background in Information Management, Records Management, and/or information Governance with above experience is ideal.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills customer service oriented, able to work in a team environment, and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.


This is a remote position open to candidates in the U.S.
Salary: $100k + 10% IC
