Business Development Executive-Software-US at Access Information Management

Job Description:

Primary Functions:



  • Effectively team with core sellers including Account Executives (AE’s) managing Access’ largest customers and Business Development Executives (BDE’s), prospecting for new customers, to generate software leads and new subscribers.

  • Lead and participate in prep with AE’s, BDE’s, pre-sales engineers, product management, professional services, Unify Specialists and others to collaborate on client engagement and present compelling Access solutions that solve the buyers challenges.

  • Develop a plan with key team members, target accounts, prospecting tactics and activity metrics required to achieve quota.

  • Generate new leads and opportunities from personal activity such as emails, phone calls, Linked-in activity, presentations, marketing activity follow up and networking to ensure quota is met.

  • Work as a trusted advisor to executive decision makers and internal champions in prospect accounts by listening, problem solving, and proposing a compelling solution.

  • Accurately forecast the stage, timing, and probability of closing business



  • Prospect using tools such as Linkedin, and Zoom Info

  • Keep and maintain activity, account, contact and opportunity information in Salesforce.



  • Achieve/exceed quarterly and annual revenue quotas on a consistent basis

  • Demonstrate Access software solutions to prospects and conduct tailored presentations to prospective software subscribers’ teams who are evaluating solutions.

  • Co-ordinate complex decision-making processes to overcome objections by prospects.

  • Work with professional service leads to effectively scope services for implementation and ensure effective handoff between sales and service


 


Education and Years of Experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 3-7 years of experience in selling cloud based, enterprise software solutions

  • Not required but advantageous - Experience in one or more of the following areas: compliance, records management, legal, and human resources is a strong advantage


 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



  • Proven track record in SaaS business development with passion, commitment and track record to exceed sales targets

  • An ability to understand business problems, position and articulate a vision with a corresponding solution to improve customer’s business processes and performance

  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams in sales, pre-sales, client services and marketing to succeed

  • Structured and strategic approach to business planning

  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with C level individuals of Fortune 1000 corporations, preferably with CIO and CSO

  • Skills and experience to recognize the influencers, decision makers and other stakeholders in the client organization, and articulate our value propositions to align with business objectives.

  • Demonstrated experience in positioning and selling against the competition.

  • Self-driven, organized, motivated, able to work under pressure, and able to organize and prioritize responsibilities

  • Demonstrated Business Acumen with the ability to position solution Return on Investment (ROI)

  • Commitment to stay current with industry/sector trends



  • Skilled in business communications, sales presentations and influencing.

  • High energy, collaborative team player who is disciplined and can effectively time manage and be organized.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work remotely and within a geographically dispersed and diverse team

  • Salesforce experience highly preferred

  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office Products

Salary: $90k + commission
