Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Creates and executes annual social media strategic planning and engagement efforts including the development and implementation of a monthly social media calendar.

  • Provides leadership and direction to other Bank users on social media, especially employees with professional pages (i.e., loan officers).

  • Helps to develop content for social media, the Bank website, and other digital outlets to include taking photos, shooting, and producing video, and assisting with graphic design when needed.

  • Writes, edits, and publishes content and copy for multiple digital marketing and communications channels.

  • Responds to online reviews, questions, and feedback in a professional manner.

  • Measures and reports on the performance of social media and digital strategies.

  • Manages the Bank’s website including routine maintenance, updates, content changes and page creation.

  • Assists with monitoring and analyzing Bank’s website performance (e.g., traffic, conversions)

  • Oversee the maintenance and publishing of online Bank profiles.

  • Assists with external digital advertising campaigns including social media, retargeting, display, SEO, and SEM.

  • Identifies digital trends and assists with optimizing advertising spend and performance based on insights.

  • Brainstorm and execute new and creative digital and social media growth strategies.

  • Produces, provides, and presents reoccurring reports to leadership and others regarding social media and digital marketing efforts.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with Marketing staff to help develop marketing, communication, and engagement campaigns.

  • Work with department staff to optimize and grow digital and social media presence.

Qualifications Required

(Required education may be satisfied by experience and/or working knowledge)

An Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field or two years of professional experience in marketing, communications and/or business sales, which must include professional social media and/or content creation experience.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Sitting for extended periods of time, requires close visual acuity and the ability to work and operate computer applications and equipment including copy machine, telephone, or other basic business equipment. Some nights and weekend work hours are required. Occasional travel is required for special events and branch/department visits.

Qualifications Preferred

A Bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or social media. Professional experience in social media strategy development and management, photography, and videography. A working knowledge of banking products and services.
