Are you a self-motivated and intellectually curious person? As a Level II Staff Auditor within the PGIM audit group, you will work with other team members to deploy our audit approach across our asset management business. This role is an entry level opportunity to work on audits in a team environment.

What you can expect:


  • Engage in dialogue with the audit team and various control partners to identify and assess risks and controls.

  • Active participation in all aspects of the audit, including the planning, risk assessment, data analytics, control analysis, testing, issue development and reporting phases.

  • Thrive in a collaborative environment where engagement with business and control function partners is key.

This position is based in Newark, NJ and you will be expected to come into the office on a hybrid model.

What you’ll need:


  • 4+ years of work experience, preferably in the financial industry.

  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree is required.

It’d be a plus if you had:


  • Asset management industry experience

  • Internal Audit or Big Four Accounting Experience

  • Experience with or exposure to data analytics tools such as advanced Excel, Python, SQL and/or other data science techniques.

  • An advanced degrees in business, finance, accounting, or related fields.

  • A certification such as the Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Public Accountant designation.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $76,800.00 to $114,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
