Overview
We're currently seeking a versatile individual to fill a dual role as a Utility Laborer for the Paving crew and a CDL Driver (Class A or B).
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist paving crew with various duties such as shoveling and raking, luting, using a wheelbarrow, and safely directing backing/dumping trucks into the paver.
Occasionally, paving equipment operates, including power broom, plate compactor, paving machine, shuttle buggy, and vibratory roller.
Other miscellaneous duties include but are not limited to equipment maintenance and assisting foreperson and crew members as needed.
Ability to follow directions.
Operating a water truck or TMA truck when needed
Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations when driving
Requirements
Valid CDL (Class A or B)
Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, inspectors, engineers, and the public permanently.
Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time.
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in company policy and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
