Join our dynamic Sales Operations department where collaborative teams in Pricing, Customer Data Management, Sales Compensation, and more intersect to empower our sales teams. Support business analytics and operation execution to the GPO sales team. Present findings and recommendations to sales management to continuously improve business process and issue resolution.

Plan and prepare business, financial and data analysis and reports.

The Sales Analyst role will work closely with Sales Ops Manager to optimize GPO operation process and analytic capability. This position will have a key role in supporting Medline GPO relationships and will perform analysis/prepare recommendations in the areas of contract opportunity, sales, and impact trends. In this role you will present findings to sales management to solve problems and issues related to pricing and contract conflicts along with data integrity. The role will also interact with sales reps regarding contracting validation and connections.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Prepare and analyze sales impact, compliance/GAP reports and results.

  • Process product category LOC's and execute/implement contract connections.

  • Analyze item pricing across all customers to identify situations where pricing is outside of the normal predetermined price range.

  • Maintaining GPO rosters and monitoring customer membership changes or acquisitions.

  • Develop and continuously improve reports to help sales management quantify decision making. Measure the trends, efficiencies and effectiveness of sales and resource utilization.

  • Support sales teams in preparing and evaluating deal scenarios and contract impacts.

  • Collaborate with GPO counterparts to create and maintain reporting requirements and ensure systems provide accurate and timely data.

EDUCATION


  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting.


RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE


  • At least 2 years of experience in sales analysis.


ADDITIONAL


  • Ability to successfully apply standard financial, accounting and business problem-solving skills to business problems with multiple variables.
  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Access (for example: modifying default field properties, creating a sub form, adding a control button, modifying query criteria and query totals, using conditional formatting and/or viewing data relationships).
  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, volume.
