One of the Medtronic strategies is to drive operational efficiencies improvement to drive quality improvement and cost down. OI will have a team to focus on global OEE standardization, adaptation, and implementation. This role will interact with Medtronic global operations to drive a culture of business process optimization and innovation.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Manage OEE Capital, Expense and Saving portfolio with sites.
  • Report OEE Capital, Expense and Savings.
  • Deploy and promote OEE culture on sites in scope.
  • Develop and implement the OEE standard measurement and tracking system across manufacturing.
  • Develop a plan with key stakeholders to improve lines and processes to deliver savings targets.
  • Apply a system-based approach for improving OEE, so it can be sustained after the project is complete.
  • Coaching and developing individuals and team on planning and managing for OEE improvement.
  • Leading OEE Program - developing overall program plan, organization, and tracking approach.
  • Ensuring organization follows KPI standard for measurement and reporting OEE.
  • Developing OEE improvement plans with stakeholders for individual lines and processes.

Qualifications - External

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree required
  • Requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience

  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrate teamwork and have a strong internal/external customer focus.
  • Negotiation and influence management skills.
  • Must be able to work independently, be self-motivating, and act as a change agent.
  • Lean Sigma BB/MBB
  • Know Program and Project Management to plan, organize and deliver results with key stakeholders and teams.
  • Use data analytics to drive decision making.
  • Drive positive results under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Experience working in a regulated / FDA environment.

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
