The ICU RN Manager will be leading patient care at this 200+ bed hospital that’s part of an outstanding health system. This system has earned its great reputation by offering a comprehensive continuum of inpatient and outpatient healthcare services, including cardiovascular care, stroke, obstetrics & maternity care, emergency care as well as diagnostic imaging, screening, and testing.


Reporting to the Administrative Nurse Director of Critical Care Services, the ICU RN Manager will lead an outstanding team of Acute and Critical Care Nurses. With the CCRN Nursing Supervisor and two tenured Charge Nurses reporting up to the ICU RN Manager, this person will receive plenty of clinical support in the Intensive Care Unit. 


This is a great opportunity for a strong Intensive Care Nurse Supervisor to take the next step in their career, or for a skilled Nurse Manager to move to a well run and high-quality department. The ICU RN Manager will oversee a fast-paced and cutting-edge unit, which was recently updated. Leading a skilled team of 40+ Nurses, and working closely with excellent doctors, respiratory therapists, and technicians, this Manager will find a unit that feels like a family. 


The ICU RN Manager will serve an integral role in the Intensive Care Unit, taking oversight of both clinical and administrative operations. Clinically, the Manager will lead skills and competency development for the Nursing Staff, will serve as a mentor to their team, and will support educational initiatives. This person will also be charged with developing and maintaining the schedule, participate in staffing processes, and will serve as the subject matter expert on regulation and compliance for the ICU.
