Job Summary/Purpose:
The Database Developer will work in multiple database technologies and with the development teams to support their project life cycles. Their work will support both the development teams’ and Corporate/Departmental goals in the areas of implementing standards across the team for database deployment, reporting, data migration/transformation, performance, and compliance They will participate in evaluating and suggesting technology changes and contribute to projects based on new or changed technology. After hours and weekend support may be required as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a team oriented and customer-focused mindset, be able to manage their own work, be a self-starter, and work effectively with agile teams. They should be able to interact and communicate effectively with business partners and product owners, have a strong sense of ownership for quality deliveries, and drive continuous improvement opportunities.

Education and Experience:
Preferred bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or related field and/or 2-3 years equivalent work experience
2-3 years SQL Server and/or MySQL Database environment experience
Understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
