JOB SUMMARY:

The Table Games Dealer Trainee is hired to learn the table games business, starting with Blackjack and be able to pass the certification to promote to a Table Games dealer position.

*Temporary position, not to exceed 90 day

JOB DUTIES:

• Delivers great customer service by learning core games offered by Horseshoe Baltimore in a friendly and helpful manner with an upbeat/positive attitude.
• Learn how to demonstrates an effective working knowledge of dealing policies and gaming procedures
• Learn how to deal games in accordance with internal controls, Maryland Lottery Gaming Control Commission regulations and company policy.
• Able to learn applicable departmental dealer efficiency metrics.
• Always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same
• Responsible for learning the protection and control of the game.
• Learn how to exchange currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner.
• Support and maintain Horseshoe courtesy guidelines at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Presents oneself in a polished, professional and service-minded way and encourages others to do the same.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Excellent customer service skills are essential
• Must be able to perform basic math quickly
• Must present a well-groomed appearance
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public
• Must be able to pass a math test and customer service focused panel before being accepted to this training program.
• Must be able to work varied shifts during a 24 hour period, weekends and holidays are required as needed.
