Summary of Duties:


As part of a team and under general direction, the Employer Relations Coordinator has extensive involvement in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of employer-related activities including Career Fairs, Employer Interviews, and associated events. Oversees the day-to-day operations of records maintenance, employer communication (phone/email), and assistance in university/employer-related research to ensure effectiveness of employer relations.


Position will assist in the management of the Handshake job platform, specifically employer-related functions.




Required Qualifications:




  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.




  • Experience in program/project/event coordination or related experience.







Preferred Qualifications:




  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite or similar programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.).




  • Experience performing database management, records maintenance, web maintenance, and/or organization within an office environment.

Range 38 | $3,096 - $4,013 | (Range A through L)Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
