POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for creating and maintaining three dimensional models of complex electrical parts and
assemblies in accordance with defined standards. Prepare layouts and drawings of electrical assemblies,
installations and systems. Make all corrections and revisions to electrical documentation, as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Utilize design and drafting software to develop layouts of new electrical design concepts in two
dimensional solids under minimal direction of an Electrical Engineer.
• Draw electrical components and assemblies in three dimensional solids using design and drafting
software under the general direction of an Electrical Engineer.
• Create complex two dimensional electrical component drawings and electrical schematics, wiring
diagrams and harnesses in two dimensional drawings.
• Create advanced two dimensional electrical assembly and installation drawings from models.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Modify complex three dimensional models and two dimensional drawings and create Engineering
Change Notices (ECN’s) in accordance with company standards.
• Interface with shop staff to examine fit up and other issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and four to ten years related experience.
Associates Degree (two year technical school or college) strongly preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) preferred. Advanced
knowledge and experience with Inventor or similar three dimensional modeling software is required.
AutoCAD electrical, AutoCAD two dimensional, or similar software experience is required.
Certificates & Licenses
Inventor training certificate or equivalent in other three dimensional software design and drafting
packages such as Pro Engineer or Solid works required.
Other Requirements
Prior electrical design experience required. Experience with ANYS Y14.5M required.
