Arcosa Marine Components is searching for a Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Bossier City, LA.  

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strategic sourcing plan, continuously evaluate and improve supply chain sources.
• Issue and maintain purchase orders.
• Implement and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in managing supplier quality program
• Assist engineering in evaluating viable alternative components or suppliers.
• Ensure inventory items are available to meet production schedule.
• Request quotes from suppliers.
• Strategically negotiate pricing and supplier agreements.
• Manage inventory forecasting and stock levels.
• Work under the general direction of the plant operations manager or business unit management.
• Comply with all company safety rules and procedures
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.
∙ Manage a small team of Direct Reports within the Plant.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma is required; Associates or BA preferred.
∙ 1-3 years of Supervisor experience is required
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience negotiating and developing strategic supplier agreements.
• Experience with import logistics.
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing and supply chain logistics.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/MRP system preferred.
• Experience with sourcing gearing, bearings, motors, castings, and other industrial components.
