Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Compensation and Benefits Administrator located in Columbus, Indiana. This position is open due to an anticipated retirement in 2023. We are actively recruiting to hire now to ensure a strong transfer of knowledge. The Compensation and Benefits Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of bi-weekly payroll, payroll state/federal taxes, Team Member incentives.   Additionally, the Compensation and Benefits Administrator is responsible for the accurate administration, reporting of Team Member health benefits, retirement plan, paid time off benefits, leave benefits, and worker’s compensation benefits. In addition, this position completes required compliance reporting like the 401(k) census, EEO, 990, 941, 5500, and participates in regulatory auditing.

·  Responsible for all facets of payroll, payroll taxes, payroll deductions, garnishments, payroll and overtime reporting, Team Member incentives, and state and federal payroll taxes. Processing payroll biweekly is a critical function of this position, and paid time off is expected to be scheduled around processing payroll.  

·  Assists with HRIS data maintenance and Team Member Total Compensation and adjustments.

·   Responsible for enrollment, cancellation, billing, reporting, system tracking, and record-keeping for Centra’s benefits programs. Provides support during benefit renewals, related analysis, and proposals. 

·   Compiles benefit, compensation, and HR records as needed and provides support to Team Members regarding payroll and benefits. 

·   Works closely with the Director Team Member Experience (TME) Operations.  Collaborates with Team Members of the TME Department for the overall success of the Department and the experience of the Team Member.  This includes communicating with the Director TME Operations, Senior Vice President (SVP) TME and the TME team on pulse points, identifying opportunities, recommending enhancements and best practices, and supporting and contributing to TME projects.    

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:   (Equivalent combination of Education & Experience will be considered.)

Associates degree in related field.  Three to Five years of similar or related experience.
