Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Centra Financial Services Support Specialist in Columbus, Indiana. 

The Centra Financial Services (CFS) Support Specialist provides administrative support and is responsible for facilitating and managing sales and marketing activities for multiple Investment Consultants.

The minimum starting wage for this opportunity is $23.06 per hour.         

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  This position may be required to perform additional duties as requested. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform.


  • Assists Investment Consultants administratively coordinating calendars, scheduling events, and preparing CFS documents. Provides Member and Team Member service by telephone and email, greets visitors, receives incoming correspondence and distributes to the appropriate Team Member.

  •   Assists Investments Consultants on marketing campaigns for CFS and partners with Marketing department for best exposure and resources. Collaborates with Broker Dealer and Centra Marketing and understands compliance requirements of both organizations.

  • Performs on-going marketing efforts which include coordinating marketing campaigns, lobby days, direct mail, seminars, advertisements, digital media, newsletter articles, and any other marketing activities assigned to grow CFS business. Attends various events for set up and assistance. This includes coordinating with branches to ensure marketing materials are current and supply needs are met.

  • Collects and records Member service survey information for reporting and will be assigned additional reporting creation and distribution duties as needed.

  • Maintains knowledge of applicable technology resources and software needed for the role including digital technology for updates on Centra intranet and social media for Investment Consultants.

  •  Assists in the development and marketing of seminars held by the Investment Consultants.  Prepares material and coordinates meeting logistics for Team Members on CFS products and services.  

  • Provides regular backup assistance for work within CFS Appraisal Management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  (Equivalent combination of Education & Experience will be considered.)



  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)




  • A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
