Your responsibilities

SUMMARY: The Maintenance Supervisor will directly supervise all maintenance personnel, Automated Manufacturing Technology(AMT) personnel, facilities personnel, and store room personnel. This person will be responsible for increasing productivity and availability of company equipment as well as be responsible for promoting the professional competence of the maintenance team through the direct supervision of daily activities, training and support.

Has the responsibility for the implementation, conformity and performance of the process at the respective plant for the Planning Maintenance, Maintenance Improvement and Preventative and Predictive Maintenance processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Supports all safety procedures and initiatives


• Supervises all personnel assigned to the Maintenance Department


• Responsible for recording attendance, performance reviews/skill matrix, and disciplinary action of maintenance personnel as necessary


• Coordinates all preventive & corrective maintenance activities on production equipment


• Effectively communicates with internal customers (Other departments/employees) as well as external customers (Suppliers)


• Forecasts operating costs of Maintenance Department


• Ensures performance metrics and goals are met and action plans implemented. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals


• Creates training plans, schedules training and performs trainings for maintenance personnel


• Continually coaches maintenance staff through daily activities as well as in planned department meetings


• Conducts, trains, evaluates minor / preventive maintenance


• Takes all actions and necessary steps to deliver quality parts to our customer


• Communicates weekly summary report and any special needs to production manager


• Troubleshoots issues using company systems and software


• Updates all required maintenance documentation


• Assists with continuous improvement projects such as Scrap Reduction and Downtime Reduction


• Maintains established housekeeping standards for all maintenance areas


• Manages spare part inventory and cost reduction


• Manages/Assists AMT program development


• Responsible for all preventative and operative aspects of the facility

Your profile

Education and/or Experience:

Associate's degree (A.S.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred. Minimum of High School education or GED equivalency with 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
