Digital Marketing Manager (Remote Position) at Interra Credit Union

Job Description:

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will lead and execute digital marketing strategies across all of our omni-channel initiatives.   Facilitate all aspects of digital marketing project coordination, promotions, and maintain effective organization of the digital marketing while supporting marketing goals.   Responsible for search engine optimization, marketing automation, digital and social media advertising, website, email marketing, and analytics.   Evaluate processes and procedures on a continual basis to assure Digital Marketing processes and procedures are effective and drive to achieve maximum results.  Ensure a superior member experience to achieve maximum results and that align with Interra's mission, vision, and core values. This position is eligible for remote work.

Major Duties and Responsibilities




  • Plan, execute and manage digital marketing initiatives to include, but not limited to, campaigns, email marketing strategies, Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing, writing, proofing and editing in collaboration with the marketing team and budget. Oversee project compliance reviews. Manage milestones to ensure project plans are followed in a timely basis and deliverables are met. Continuously monitor and maintain of all aspects of the credit union's digital branding to ensure consistency and compliance. Utilize marketing data to develop targeted digital marketing operations.

  • Develop, implement, and lead the digital marketing strategy using corporate platforms such as email marketing, trigger automation, digital display, website management, social media advertising, Search Engine Marketing, marketing analytics and reporting. Oversee media buy and artwork deadlines while assuring operations are within budget. Matches strategy to website keywords for best optimization. Analyze member trends, demographic data, and member propensity for precise micro and macro member campaigns. Maintain knowledge and utilize A/B testing for campaign enhancement. Manages all third party communications including but not limited to service standards, KPI metrics, and reporting.

  • Create and manage the corporate website and online banking design. Implement website pixels and tags, aesthetics and navigation, publishing and updating of content, architecture, branding, and performance functionality. Utilize Google Analytics to track website results, trends and implement up-to-date presence. Ensure SEO strategy parallels with keywords to copy on website. Oversee the administration and monitoring of vendor management to ensure the organizational policies and objectives are met.

  • Collaborate with other department leaders on an ongoing basis to meet the needs of the credit union. Represent Digital Marketing and providing remote service perspective for the credit union on numerous projects and committees, including enterprise wide projects, department projects, and cross-functional projects. Establish and maintain professional working relations with various internal and external parties.

  • Coordinate and monitor the credit union’s social media presence. Oversee the social media calendar schedule and the reputation management platform. Proactively monitor, manage, and respond to online comments, inquiries, and reviews with the appropriate corporate tone. Maintain our social media platforms by posting information, ads, promotions, contests, and images of events to keep our members and employees engaged. Manage design graphics to use for posts. Maintains on-call status for emergency media disruptions.

  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Credit Union Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, CAN-SPAM Act and online privacy rules and regulations.


Knowledge and Skills


Experience


8 + years digital marketing experience, plus 2+ years' supervisory experience leading engaged teams.


Education/Certifications/Licenses


Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related field. Google Analytics Certified.


Interpersonal Skills


A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and
explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly
confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on
matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.


Other Skills


Demonstrated work experience as Digital Media Specialist or Digital Marketing Manager. Knowledge of SEO/SEM, tag manager and dashboard reporting. Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Demonstrated experience with search engine optimization, lead generation and email marketing. Demonstrated understanding of digital marketing journeys and rollout. Experience with website building, HTML, content management and optimization. Success record of implementation of automated digital journeys in order to maximize member engagement, utilization and conversion. Strong decision-making skills with successful and trackable results. Experience in team building, leadership and multi-projects in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines. Professional level of verbal and written communication skills are essential to the position. Advanced analytical and project management skills for a variety of tasks or projects. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Demonstrated knowledge of Credit Union regulations, products, policies, procedures, services, related federal state and federal laws and regulations. The ability to motivate or influence internal or external senior level professionals is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of influence and trust. Obtaining cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via frequently complex and senior level dialogues. Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets, variables and situations. Ability to provide world class member service while executing Interra’s vision, mission and delivery of Core Values.

Physical Requirements


Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel of site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.


Working Conditions


Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.

Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
