Project Engineer (Westbrook, ME): We are seeking a safety minded, qualified, self-motived individual to learn all aspects of construction projects under the direction of the Area Manager. Responsibilities include but not limited to: assisting with the planning and scheduling of daily and weekly yields for construction materials, equipment and labor. Other duties include assisting with the scheduling of personnel, equipment and trucks, coordination of daily operations with customer/owner's representatives. The selected candidate will also assist with general project layout and sequencing. Position based out of Westbrook, Maine. Classification: Seasonal hourly position.

Requirements:

• Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.


• Must be willing to work the necessary schedule to meet workload demands.


• Willingness to perform administrative duties such as timecard, progress postings (daily quantities) and keeping a field journal.


• Must display a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with co-workers and the public.


• Extended hours with possible night and/or weekend work as well as overnights.


• The willingness to travel to other Pike locations throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont when needed.


• A valid driver's license.
