Job Description:

Oversees the administrative activities for the Academy of Teaching Scholars (ATS)The Academy of Teaching Scholars (ATS) mission is to nurture, recognize, and reward teaching excellence, evidence-based instruction, and scholarship in teaching and learning through faculty development, advocacy, collaboration, and innovation. Our vision is to be a locally valued and nationally recognized community of educators actively engaged in the ongoing pursuit of teaching and educational excellence and scholarship.


Duties:



  • Responsible for daily program operations including program evaluations, and developing long-range plans.

  • Collects and analyzes data and prepares reports.

  • Designing and managing the new member application process and prep materials.

  • Evaluation of the Academy and Academy programming 

  • Ensures compliance with program regulations.

  • Plans and coordinates events (including marketing, organizing presenters, and managing logistics)

  • Develops and administers budgets for assigned projects and programs.

  • Grant maintenance.(Designing and managing the grant application process and prep materials)

  • Plans and oversees project management.

  • Develops policies and procedures.

  • Performs related duties as assigned or as required to successfully fulfill functions of the position.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree AND:



  • 48 months of related experience.


Equivalent Substitution: Will accept 48 months of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree to equal 96 months of related experience.


Skills:



  • Able to prioritize multiple projects within the overall management of the program

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with faculty and staff

  • Communicate effectively and consistently with stakeholders regarding programs and events

  • Physical: Sits for prolonged periods. Communicate effectively. Manual dexterity.


  • Environment: standard office environment.
