SVB Talent Acquisition and Planning is dedicated to creating a rewarding workplace culture that attracts first-class diverse talent, promotes excellence, and supports SVB's continued growth and innovation. Within a collaborative, team-oriented environment, as a Talent Acquisition Manager you will serve as a player-coach and leader in Talent Acquisition and Planning.

You'll lead recruitment initiatives for our Technology & Healthcare Banking Organization that is high-growth mode. You will lead a team of recruiters, while also working closely with business leaders to proactively achieve talent goals and OKRs.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Create and execute talent acquisition strategies that focus on diversity, scalability, agility, and efficiency.

  • Serve as a strong collaborator working in a united way with business partners and other internal clients to establish and implement diversity recruitment objectives, practices, metrics, and goals

  • Make deep immersive relationships with the executive teams by being a trusted advisor and an extension of the business.

  • Further develop benchmarks and metrics to measure and implement organizational OKRs

  • Develop deep knowledge of SVB, our Values and our emerging business needs

  • Promote SVB and serves as an effective ambassador to potential candidates, sources, and other contacts. Elevate and manage the candidate experience to best demonstrate SVB's Values

  • Effectively champion, support, and mentor a team of 4-6 recruiters

  • Clearly manage objectives, i.e., clarity about what will/will not be pursued.

  • Forecast and manage cyclical business trends affecting staffing volumes through metrics

  • You are a highly experienced recruiter and manager who enjoys a fast-paced, growing environment.


Specific experience requirements include:


  • At least 10 years of recruitment experience and 5+ years managing a team

  • Ability to build and execute multiple programs that cross HR functions and business lines, and handle numerous priorities in a rapidly changing environment

  • Consistent track record of successful project management and ability to drive diversity recruitment programs that support the organization's workforce DE&I initiatives

  • Proven ability to increase diversity in candidate pools through creative and proactive outreach and partnership

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, knowledge of metrics and analytics, and the ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy. Ability to use data and expertise to help influence and advise leaders in talent decisions

  • Strong presentation skills

  • HR generalist experience, particularly with policies and procedures throughout the employment process to maintain compliance and other employment laws to reduce legal liability

  • Strong understanding of talent and competency models, recruiting fundamentals, competitive market awareness and online/social media

  • Recruitment experience in financial services, banking, or other regulated environments a plus

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
