Job Overview: Linde is currently seeking a Sales Support Specialist in Sierra Pines / The Woodlands, TX. The Sales Support Specialist, working under the direction of Director Area of Sales - South Region. Sales Support Responsibilities: 1. Marketing 2. Develop, track, and publish customer market metrics such as refinery crack spreads, ethylene margins, methanol and ammonia indices, etc. 3. Develop and maintain boiler plate sales presentations 4. Work with the BD and sales team to develop or obtain end use market reports 5. Sales team support6. Responsible for Initial Impressions Database (IID) entries on behalf of all sales team members 7. Provide welcome packets to all new customers. 8. Schedule, organize and administer monthly ASU and merchant sales meetings, to include update and distribution of top opportunities spreadsheets 9. Keep track of leads generation activities and generate monthly tracking report for all incoming leads 10. Assist in ad-hoc projects for customer presentations, executive team visits, etc. 11. Assist in the development and writing of proposals with sales team 12. Potential to lead local sales activities for small accounts 13. Create and maintain customer database - customer key contacts, letter recipients, customer org charts 14. Contract management15. Work with contract manager to ensure contracts database is up to date for on-site, pipeline and merchant customers 16. As needed, interface with PBC, sales, product mgmt, to assist contract manager in addressing any open billing issues including volume, timing, pricing blocks, lost meter data, etc. 17. Forecasting18. Work with variable margin team and finance to help communicate month to date status against forecast and against plan 19. Management Support20. Schedule, manage and administer Monthly Business Review (MBR) 21. Create and distribute Accounts Receivable (AR) report(s) weekly / monthly 22. Assist in setting up video conference calls and serve as the audio / visual expert for the sales / management teams 23. Make travel arrangements as requested 24. Expense reporting as requested QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred - 3 - 5 years' experience in administrative, sales support, or customer service preferred - Experience with data analysis strongly preferred - Must have ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and demands - Highly proficient in Microsoft programs, including Outlook, Teams, Office, Excel, and PowerPoint - Must have excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills - Familiarity within refining, chemical, natural gas, pipeline or related industries a plus At Linde, we strive to create a work environment that treats all employees with respect, supports new thoughts and ideas, encourages growth and development, celebrates our differences, and embraces inclusion.
