Description



Our team develops electronic devices and systems for our US military customers. As a member of the team, you will lead the Software development for embedded systems from architecture design to sustaining engineering. Work involves prototyping, reverse engineering, developing technical data products, specifying tools and environments, and working with a multi-disciplinary development team. Looking for senior level engineer to guide junior engineers and establish product team best practices. Expertise and Functions • Develop, review software engineering architecture, design, and coding • Perform research of, define, and document requirements for system-level software design documents • Lead software engineers, developers and programmers in embedded system design, development, and testing • Enforce CMMI Level 3 processes and provide process improvement feedback • Other duties as assigned



Requirements



Qualifications

• •Education/Training
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required

• 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
• Full completion of multiple embedded software projects
• C, C++, RTOS, BSPs, Drivers
• I/O protocols such as SCSI, MIL-STD-1553, Fibre Channel, and PCI
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with Hardware/System Engineers
• Military product design experience and standards a plus

• Must be a US citizen
• Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
