Job Summary
A Glass Glazing Technician is an individual who works with all types of glass, plus performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
Duty
The Glazer is familiar with the process of fitting glass, while also can perform work-station operations to assemble architectural aluminum windows
Monday to Thursday (ten-hour shifts)
Two shifts available - 4:45 AM to 3:15 PM or 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Be able to learn assembly of Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope's standard systems.
Must be able to read/use a tape measure..
Be able to learn to clean & apply Sealant
Inspect assembled windows
Must be able to lift/move maximum of 75 lbs. intermittently.
Must be able to stand on his/her feet for 10 hours.
Overtime is required as needed
Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including Critical Safety Rules, are essential functions of your job.
Ability to wear required safety equipment, including safety boots with metatarsal guards and stand for extended periods of time
