Team Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Content & Brand Manager , focusing on content strategy and creation of top and middle of funnel thought leadership and branded messaging and content. You will be part of a Sales & Marketing Solutions Demand Generation team responsible for the strategic ideation and marketing execution to elevate the Dun & Bradstreet brand, value proposition, and key company pillars. You will develop and execute on content strategies in support of the buyer journey, overseeing content requirements based on pipeline gap analyses, content & SEO audits and campaign and business strategies. Create and maintain editorial calendars, style guides, and taxonomies.

The Role:

A successful candidate will have strong B2B brand experience with a track record of creating short- and long-form content. Experience with mid-size and enterprise SaaS solutions or data solutions is particularly desired. You will have experience in developing content that drives results in a digital environment, as well as comfort with using data to evaluate asset performance and to inform potential changes to future content. Capabilities should include, but not be limited to, creating whitepapers, research studies, ebooks, videos (scripts and directions), blogs/website articles, and other media assets, as well as demand generation copy for digital ads and emails.

A foundational understanding of the B2B customer journey and how content can help buyers move through the journey is essential. This role will interface with stakeholders across business and functional marketing units including portfolio marketing, digital and corporate communications.

Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively with Portfolio Marketing, Demand Gen teams, and Corporate Communications to determine the right top of funnel content strategy (narrative & content assets) that will position Dun & Bradstreet as a thought leader in the B2B data and insights space.
  • Execute on that strategy, creating content that delivers Content that may include, but not be limited to, whitepapers, research studies, eBooks, videos (scripts and directions), blogs/website articles, and other media assets and must apply best practices regarding SEO to yield long-term organic traffic.
  • Write digital paid media, email and other demand gen copy that drives to lower funnel assets (BU-level) for ultimate conversion.
  • Perform various writing and editing tasks where needed and provide oversight of special projects where needed.
  • Qualifications

  • 5+ years B2B software content marketing experience in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with corporate brand narrative including value propositions, pillars, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to create B2B narratives/stories (please provide examples).
  • You will also have proven ability to write and proof content on a variety of topics across multiple content formats, with a focus on digital environments and performance.
  • You will be able to share examples of how you have used data-driven decision making.
  • You will understand a modern demand-gen organization, including the role of various inbound and outbound tactics to drive demand and metrics to gauge performance.
  • Technology industry, professional service, data/analytics/business intelligence experience, especially in the areas of finance-related data and software is a strong plus.
  • Experience with content management systems like Asana or NewsCred, and ticketing systems such as JIRA a plus.
  • Experience in self-publishing website content using Adobe Experience Manager a strong plus.
  • Most importantly, impeccable grammar and proofing skills.
