The Hughes-Treitler Business Unit designs and manufactures state of the art plate-fin heat exchangers, cold plates, condensers, evaporators, and other heat transfer products. We provide custom design and engineering services, to high quality manufacturing standards, for the aircraft, engine and industrial heat exchangers in the mobile/marine/avionics/space and missile markets.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for all functions associated with receipt, storage, and pulling of material into production departments.
Prepares (sorts, counts, packages) and stages material for movement on work orders as necessary.
Night Shift Hours: 3:30pm - 11:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities:
Checks, counts and verifies all materials and supplies received against appropriate paperwork.
Sorts and checks all material before issuing to a department or stock
Process backorder items and expedites material issuance to critical production requirements & shortages
Identifies and reports damaged items
Completes all paperwork and documents involving parts or materials received into and/or issued out of the area to ensure accountability
Pulls materials, parts and supplies to fill stock requisitions and kits as necessary for production commitments.
Conducts cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy
Perform cycle count adjustments
Scrapping materials - perform transactions and physical disposal
Perform part roll-ups
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to complete heavy work assignments while remaining detailed oriented.
Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and can work in a face paced environment
Must have a flexible schedule to be able to work overtime as required.
Must be able to communicate, in English effectively both in written and verbal form
Knowledgeable with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Agile, or any other ERP system) a plus
Ability to lift at 40lbs and have ability to constantly be standing for at least 6-8 hours during the day
Education and Experience:
Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience required: 3-5 years of previous materials experience or applicable experience required.
