We are thrilled to be providing primary care services at our new, state-of-the-art location at 80 Beharrell Street in West Concord, Massachusetts.



Hours



Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm



General Overview



The LPN will provide professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices. Maintains effective working relationship with physicians, staff, patients and family members.



Responsibilities



  • Performs general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.

  • Assists with preparation of equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination and testing of patients.

  • Observes, records and reports patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.

  • Oversees appointment bookings and ensures preferences are given to patients in emergency situations. Maintains timely flow of patients.

  • Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination. Screens patients for appropriate information. Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests.

  • Arranges for patient testing and admissions.

  • Responds to and triages incoming telephone calls. Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.

  • Formulates and updates patient care plans. Orders, prepares and inspects patient charts. Posts test and examination results.

  • Prepares exam rooms including re-stocking of treatment areas.






Qualifications

Qualifications



  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing required

  • Valid state license to practice practical nursing required
