The Internet Communications Coordinator (ICC) is responsible for content management activities, updates, and maintenance of digital communications for the IBC Family of Companies. This position is a part of the Digital Communications team and will work primarily within an email marketing tool creating HTML emails and deploying email communications for email marketing campaigns. The individual will also be involved in making updates to WordPress-based websites. The ICC sets project scope, tracks project progress, lays out email and web pages according to established standards, builds/modifies navigation, and obtains appropriate approvals during projects.

Responsibilities:



  • Create and deploys HTML email communications and coordinate email marketing campaigns for the IBC Family of Companies, including affiliates.




  • Create web pages or emails in HTML using a design document and provided copy.




  • Make content modifications in WordPress-based websites.




  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze HTML bugs or errors that may arise from existing or previous versions of web content.




  • Perform HTML updates to several large-scale enterprise websites through a Content Management System.




  • Work with other Digital Communications teams to ensure accurate development work and efficiently publish web or email content.




  • Able to accurately work with a project management system, including tracking approvals and checking on the status of requests and new requests as they come in.




  • Diligently follow processes and procedures related to web and email content publishing and development.




  • Maintain the integrity of graphic, style and functionality standards. Participate in peer/quality review process.




  • Works in cross-functional teams within Creative Services to promote projects over various media platforms (print, social media, multimedia, AV, advertising)



Qualifications:



  • Qualified candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing with solid HTML skills and 2 to 3 years of experience in web content development, editing or a related field.




  • Excellent writing skills.




  • The position requires an extremely organized individual to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.




  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling the individual to communicate and interact effectively with various levels of individuals both internally and externally.



Preferred Software and Proficiencies



  • HTML preferred




  • Experience with Email distribution software and web content management systems preferred




  • Project Management tools (Adobe Workfront, preferred)




  • Adobe Creative Suite: Dreamweaver, Acrobat, Photoshop




  • Understanding the concepts of CSS and Javascript are a plus




  • Microsoft Office
