Cyber Risk Analyst at Cigna

  • Assess future risk, opportunities, and effectiveness by utilizing advanced analytics.

  • Enhance decision making by accurately translating results into meaningful solutions.

  • Define risk appetite and tolerance level.

  • Create Risk Management data association model for controls, process where applicable.

  • Responsible for the development of complex systems and programs that measure aggregated risk exposures .

  • Support the continued development of the quantitative risk management program.

  • Create and implement a risk quantification baseline approach that is repeatable, automated and addresses prioritization of remediation efforts.

  • Quantify risk and aggregate exposures by utilizing industry best practices. Cybersecurity risk and the Cigna's exposure to loss is represented quantitatively.

  • Influence business analysis and communicate analytical results, findings, and solutions to governance committees and business process owners.

  • Objectively guide portfolio investments decisions.

Requirements:


  • Knowledge of risk management principles and practices.

  • Strong investigatory abilities and mind-set.

  • Superb overall IT skills.

  • Understanding of current risk management tools and techniques. Exposure to quantitative risk management theory would be beneficial.

  • Ability to communicate confidently with Senior Leadership.

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills.

  • Ability to network and build strong relationships across an organization.

  • Ability to challenge and influence Senior Managers when necessary.

  • Any course work in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or mathematics preferred, others may be considered.

  • Certification or working towards Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIRTM).

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
