Role: Test House Operations Manager (Technical)

Cognizant is looking for a Test House Operations Manager (Technical) in developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

Job Summary:

Part in shipping groundbreaking technology for large scale systems, natural language, and artificial intelligence. You will work with the people who craft the intelligent assistant that helps millions of people to get things done.

Expectations:

• Able to challenge the QEs on solutions they propose to automate Virtual assistant AI & ML solutions using Objective C ,Swift, XCUITest etc.


• As an automation architect, should be able to guide, support, resolve technical roadblocks and manage Tech debt


• Job content will be 70% technical (dealing with code) and 30% managerial.


• Manage the communication between Cognizant & Apple , and between global delivery sites.


• Team management of Seattle test house 15-20 member automation team


• Recruitment of new team members for Seattle test house

Key Qualifications:

• 8 to 12 years of industry experience with at least 3 years as Engineering Manager or Test Architect leading engineering or QE team


• Strong technical expertise with programming languages: Objective C or Swift or XCUITest


• Experience in test tooling, automation strategy, framework creation, test design, test authoring, execution, Test log analysis, debugging and reporting 


• Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.

 

Optional Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in product testing and leading quality engineering Team on iOS / Mobile apps validation.


• Able to write shell scripts and familiar with XCode and able to build or modify existing iOS Application Code


• Experience with iOS platforms, debugging or profiling tools
