What You Will Do:

The Technical Analyst’s primary focus will be working to solution, review and develop SFDC and custom extensions (as necessary) to the salesforce.com product and integrating Salesforce.com with other systems. The developer, in collaboration with the technology team will also help define how the solution will be implemented.  Responsibilities include leading technical requirements gathering sessions, writing requirements and specification documents, any integration efforts and working with the solutions architect to determine the correct solution.  As a key member of the IT organization, this role will be responsible and accountable for providing effective and efficient technical, functional, and reporting support for Salesforce. Overall, the SFDC Technical Analyst will need to analyze and develop solutions to business processes and changes that enable the business to function more effectively and efficiently. This role is hybrid, based out the Glendale, WI (Milwaukee market) Clarios headquarters. Travel up to 10%, if required by the business

The role of the Technical Analyst requires both judgment and consensus building in areas such as:


  • The effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation chosen,

  • The appropriateness of the technology recommended,

  • Whether the elements of the business system and its proposed implementation have been adequately communicated and understood.

  • Providing recommendations on when to create custom objects or customer pages vs. use out-of-the-box functionality 

The role for this position is to provide strategic technical direction, and hands-on development and administration of the global Salesforce product suite of tools, including, but not limited to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.  The person in this role will be an expert with Force.com web application development, Salesforce.com integration methodologies and extensions, features, designing solutions, using the Force.com API, APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Web Response (LWR), Lightning Bolts and other tools that extend the product (e.g. Google App Engine and Amazon Web Services) including the internationalization functionality in SFDC.

How will you do it


  • Salesforce platform experience (both declarative and development) required

  • 5+ years of IT related experience.  

  • Detailed understanding and experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API

  • Advanced understanding of Salesforce.com data model including when / how to create custom objects vs. use out-of-the-box functionality 

  • Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch, sync / async, data import / export procedures or common ETL methodologies

  • Experience with scripted data loader, web services, cloud or on-premises middleware and other enterprise integrating technologies

  • Advanced level understanding of information systems and their use in complex organization

  • Visual Force, Java-Script, XML, Apex Controllers, Triggers, APIs Batch Job, Web Apps Development (Java, HTML, ASP.NET, C#), SOQL and SOSL, DemandTools, SAML Single Sign on (via Salesforce), cloud technology integration

What we look for

Required


  • Minimum of 6 years of Salesforce.com experience

  • 5+ years development experience with Visual Force, Java-script, Apex controllers, Triggers, Batch jobs & standard SFDC components required

  • 3+ years’ experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Lightning bolts

Preferred


  • 5+ years platform development experience with SFDC Object design, SOQL & SOSL 

  • Knowledge/experience with Lightning Web Response (LWRs) functionality

  • Travel up to 10%, if required by the business
