The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Security Solutions Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Provide global security technology solutions leadership to include solution identification, solution hardware and software design, global standards definition and publication, documentation management, client training, communications, global deployment strategy and execution and strategic roadmap management


• Provide administration, technical support and client consultation services for all global physical security technology solutions including facility access control, CCTV, visitor management and electronic key management


• Assist in the definition, implementation and enforcement of global physical security technology standards and standard operating procedures


• Other responsibilities as required

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Any one of the following combinations of experience and education:
  
  
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution (completed and verified prior to start) AND five (5) years of IT experience
  
  
  • Vocational/Trade/Technical diploma or Associates degree from an accredited institution (completed and verified prior to start) AND six (6) years of IT experience
  
  
  • High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) AND eight (8) years of IT experience
  
  
  
  

• Three (3) years of physical security-related experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Global visitor management systems experience


• Technical product leadership experience


• Experience or familiarity with facility access control (preferably Lenel OnGuard) and CCTV (preferably Genetec) applications


• Experience with system design and data integration


• Proven project management skills

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
